Great American Campout

Residents of The Lakes at Centerra are invited to The Great American Campout June 28th and 29th.  In cooperation with the National Wildlife Foundation’s nationwide Great American Campout, The Lakes at Centerra and The High Plains Environmental Center are hosting several events on Saturday June 28th and Sunday June 29th.  Please join us for some or all of the following and don’t forget your camp chair!

Sat 28th – Greenbelt @ Frank Farm Park

9a-11a – HPEC & The Lakes Fishing Derby – All ages derby with prizes for the most carp caught and the biggest carp caught. (Meet at the clubhouse @ 8:45a)

5p – Make camp at the greenbelt NW of Frank Farm Park.  Stake a spot if you will be camping overnight with us.  We have sprayed for mosquitos and will have citronella torches going.

6p – 7:30p Roasting hot dogs & s’mores – Fireside dinner, drinks, and snacks.

8:45p – Movie 

Sun 29th 

8a – Pancakes and Coffee Breakfast at the greenbelt.  

10a-10:30 Cleanup
