Independence Day Celebration

All Residents of The Lakes at Centerra are invited to join us for this year’s annual Independence Day Party on Saturday, July 5th!  Starting at 3p, either join us directly at the clubhouse or start the afternoon by joining the resident parade starting at the High Plains field.  Decorate your bike, pets, wagon, and yourself in your most patriotic display as neighbors parade down the path to the clubhouse.  Don’t forget your camp chair for fun in the sun (or shade) with your neighbors.   Tons to do for all ages from 3p to 7:30, with Food, Drink, and Frozen Treats provided!  (BYOB)  Please be sure to register so we can have enough to eat for everyone.  See you there!

Block party, live music, face painting, food, snow cones, splash pad, slip n slide, patriotic events, and much more!  Bring your portable chair, a towel, and a smile!  Burgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided.

Schedule

• 2:30 – Patriotic Parade Meets at HPS (Decorate your self/bike/wagon/roller skates with patriotic colors and make your way through the neighborhood to the block party!)
• 3:00 – Parade down Long Pine Lake to the Clubhouse
• 3:15 – Party Kicks off
  • Face Painting (3:30 till 6:30)
  • Games for kids (Slip and Slide, squirt guns, sidewalk chalk, etc.)
  • Sno-Cones
  • Cornhole
• 3:00 – 5:00 DJ
• 5:30 – 7:30 Live Music
• It’ll all be over by 7:30, so come early!
